Based on lab automation demands, the qTOWER3 auto with its decoupled power module and a freely accessible sample plate tray offers a reduced footprint. In developing the system, special emphasis was placed on compatibility with the common manufacturers of robot arms and automation systems. The unique, motorized plate lifter system simplifies workflows by allowing gentle lifting of the sample plate to release it safely from the sample block, while the innovative labware detection function reliably detects any improper sample plate loading. Powered by the proven Biometra block technology, the qTOWER³ auto sets new standards in terms of speed and homogeneity for automated real-time PCR. High-quality block materials and advanced Peltier technology ensure maximum thermal conductivity to enable rapid heating and cooling for shorter runtimes. This not only speeds up qPCR analysis, but provides superior accuracy and highest well-to-well reproducibility, while eliminating the cost of repeated qPCR runs and the loss of reagents and samples due to inaccurate temperatures.
Excellent data quality of fluorescent measurements is achieved through the patented fiber optic detection system. It enables homogeneous illumination and readout of each individual well which results in reduced sample to sample variations for exact, meaningful results. Powered by a long-lasting LED light source, equipped with a sensitive Photo-multiplier tube detector and a finely tuned set of excitation and emission filters, it provides optimized excitation for each individual sample while detecting the emitted fluorescent signals with extraordinary homogeneity. The ability to change or retrofit color modules increases the flexibility in the choice of fluorescent dyes that can be used to perfectly meet your current and future requirements for multiplex applications.
The qPCRsoft auto, our real-time PCR control and evaluation software, provides you with intuitive controls and automated evaluation in a flexible and user-friendly system. The software works automatically, providing a multitude of operations, such as the threshold calculation for the determination of Ct values, standard curves, PCR efficiencies, and advanced evaluation methods. Your ease of use is our priority. An optional 21 CFR Part 11 software module for the qTOWER³ auto family is available, which supports compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 FDA guidelines for electronic data security. It supports you ideally in monitoring your real-time PCR processes and ensures the traceability of your data. The module has numerous functionalities, including electronic signatures, a traceable audit trail for your quality assurance and time and date stamps.
This software module for the qTOWER³ family supports compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 FDA guidelines for electronic data security. The fee-based license is a single-user license and can be activated separately.
